About Lauren
Lauren was born and raised in Chicago and has been living in the DMV area for over 10 years. She earned her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William & Mary. She completed her clinical internship in private practice and her residency within the independent school system as an Upper School Counselor serving neurodivergent youth.
Lauren specializes in working with teens, young adults, and adults looking for support with everyday stressors, trauma, executive functioning challenges, identity development, and relationship dynamics. She offers an integrative, insight-oriented approach that blends psychodynamic exploration with practical, evidence-based strategies.
In Lauren’s spare time, she enjoys being in or near water, be it a pool or a bathtub. She loves to sing, laugh, cross-stitch, and daydream. She does not like rainy days or cooking. She does love her cat, Rupert. And her adorable husband Dan, with whom she enjoys her life immensely.
